Leagues
- Leagues are offered for all ages and skill levels
- Fall Leagues start in September and run to April. Registration begins in August
- Spring Leagues run May through June. Registration starts in April.
- Ladies and Senior Leagues are Monday to Thursday during the day.
- Mixed Leagues are Monday to Thursday evenings
- Sunday Evening Match Play League for the more competitive bowler
- Youth Leagues are held Saturday mornings for ages 4 to 18.
- Join us on Friday for a Drop In Fun Bowl.

Dear YBC Bowler,
YBC’s complimentary bowl/pre-registration will be held on Tuesday, August 28/07 from 5:00–7:00; as well as Tuesday September 4/07 from 5:00-7:00. The YBC 2007/08 season will begin on September 8/07, and finish at the end of April 2008. Attached is a list of days YBC will not be bowling, please mark these days on your calendar. All divisions will bowl on Saturday mornings at 9:30 A.M., times may vary depending on the # of registrations received. Seniors will pay $2.00/week for prize (paid to YBC Coordinator).
To save some confusion, we are sending pre-registration forms for the 2007/08 YBC season. Please confirm the information on the enclosed pre-registration form, complete and return it along with registration fees ($20.00/bowler) by September 4/07. Shirts are available at a subsidized rate and sizes will be available to try on at registration. Preference for team selection will be given to those who pre-register. For your convenience, we have added to our payment form, a pre-authorized credit card payment, due on the 1st of every month. If you are paying by postdated cheques, there are three methods of payment: 1) Monthly (7 cheques) 2) Tri-yearly (3 cheques) 3) Yearly (1 cheque). Select the payment plan that best suites you, and enclose your visa/master card # with expiry date or post dated cheques including registration fees(dated from the 1st to the 15th of the month). On the following page is a breakdown for each payment plan.
If for any reason you must withdraw during the season, a refund (or return of postdated cheques) will be made upon notice prior to the 1st of each month. There will be no refunds for missed days, however, bowlers are encouraged to keep a pre-bowl in the folder in case of any unforeseen absence. Call the bowling alley; we will set the pre-bowl out for the date it is needed. If it is not used, consider it a free practice.
Once again each YBC bowler will be asked to sell 1 case of World’s Finest Chocolates. The case price is $66.00. The funds raised from the sale of these chocolates will go to pay for the lineage costs of the YBC National and Provincial programs.
Please ensure a responsible adult accompanies your kids. Callingwood Lanes will not tolerate abusive language or inappropriate behavior, bowling privileges may be suspended if this becomes a problem.
